We firmly advocate the ideal of establishing strong links with industry in order to help companies meet their business objectives. We can support a company's short term needs through consultancy and short courses. Strategic needs can be supported through research and longer term training programmes.
During our many years of working closely with both large and small companies, we have striven to develop new ways of providing industry with support which is focussed on the specific needs of companies. An example of this innovative approach is the Partnership Degree Scheme. Our well-established reputation for research in the drug and agrochemicals fields has been achieved through the development of an extensive programme of collaboration with the major pharmaceutical and agrochemical companies over the years, as well as with some of the larger medical charities.
