Student Placement & Employability Centre (SPEC)
Formerly known as Technology Placements Office, the newly branded Student Placement & Employability Centre (SPEC) is in place to act as a source of information, advice and guidance on everything related to employability skills and gaining work experience, up to the point of graduation.
SPEC TeamOur Student Employability and Enterprise Officer builds relationships with existing and prospective employers, and our Student Placement and Employability Administrator will be administering the placement process as a whole, from advertisement, through to post placement follow-up with students. Working closely with staff at Purple Door, we are able to help students with the process of finding and gaining work experience of any kind, and providing opportunities for them to develop the skills that employers are looking for.
