Postgraduate Admissions – How to Apply

 

MSc Applicants (Home/EU Students)

You can apply for postgraduate courses online.

Alternatively, you can use the offline version of the postgraduate application form, which can be downloaded here.
Please note: you will also need to download the Guidance Notes and 2 copies of the Reference Sheet. Completed application forms should be returned, together with evidence of your academic qualifications and your references, to:

What happens after I apply?

Once your application has been received by the University, it will be processed by the Technology Admissions Team. They will guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have regarding your application.

Roles and responsibilities

The Technology Admissions Team will:
  • Send you a letter confirming whether you have been made an offer.
  • Deal with any queries you may have.
 You need to:
  • Notify us about any changes to your contact details.
  • Reply to us in good time when we request further information.
  • Reply to your offer promptly.
  • Inform us as soon as possible of any changes to your application, e.g. deferral, withdrawal

Preparation advice

Applications processes will depend entirely on the institution and, with this, it is important that you have contacted all institutions that you are applying to in order to obtain all the required information.

For the University of Portsmouth, evidence of your previous qualifications is essential, so please ensure that they are available to you at the time of application. If you do not possess evidence of your qualifications, please ensure that you contact your previous education institution or exam board(s).
