Sonia Brandon BA, BSc, MSc, FCCA

Sonia Brandon has had significant commercial experience in accounting and finance, having worked for GE and First Choice Plc. During her experience Sonia developed a keen interest in Corporate Governance and has now undertaken a PhD in Corporate Governance and Institutional Investors. The research is investigating the relation between good Corporate Governance and the type of Institutional Ownership a firm has.

Sonia lectures in the area of finance, governance and auditing.

Sonia has been postgraduate admissions tutor and undergraduate dissertation co-ordinator for accounting programmes.

Sonia is an avid spectator of figure skating and a particular fan of the Russian, Evgeni Plushenko.
