Sue Davey-Evans BA, PGCE, ACA

Sue Davey-Evans has had significant commercial experience in accounting and finance. Sue trained as a Chartered Accountant in practice and then moved into industry with a long career in financial services, working for HSBC. During her experience Sue developed a particular interest and specialism  in Strategic Planning, Management Information Systems and overall business planning, reporting and control.  These interests are reflected in her research areas which include the developing roles of financial controllers and management accountants in business.

Sue also has a research interest in accounting education and has been a member of the Faculty Teaching and Learning Committee

Sue lectures in the area of operational and strategic management accounting.

Sue has been a year tutor for the accounting and finance undergraduate programmes and the Faculty academic liaison for overseas degree programmes.
