Ian Toon

Prior to an academic career Ian worked as a management accountant, a project accountant and a finance manager. Ian has extensive commercial experience in manufacturing, logistics and construction.

Ian lectures in the areas of management accounting and accounting for non-financial managers.

Ian’s research interests include the developing role of the financial manager and accounting education.

Ian has been the department’s admissions tutor and final year tutor for undergraduate accounting and finance programmes.

Publications
