Profile
Evangelos joined the Economics Department in August 2010, as a Lecturer. Evangelos has a BA in Economics (University of Crete, 2002) and an MSc in Economic Theory and Policy (University of Crete, 2004). In addition, he holds a PhD in Industrial Organization (University of Crete, 2008). During 2009-2010 he was Visiting Lecturer at the Department of Economics at the University of Cyprus.
Evangelos lectures in the area of Business Economics. In the past has taught on a variety of courses including Microeconomic Theory, Industrial Organization, Game Theory , Market Structure and Strategy of Firms, Managerial Economics, Entrepreneurship, in both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level.
In terms of Management Evangelos has been second and third year Tutor and Coordinator for several Units.
Evangelos’s research interests include Industrial Organization, Theory and Policy and Game Theory. More specifically, Evangelos has published articles on Regulation Policies and Competition Strategies, Managerial Delegation, Innovation, Advertising, Corporate Social Responsibility, New Economy Issues, Internet Economics and Tourism Economics. In addition he has presented his work at numerous international conferences including the annual conferences of the European Association for Research in Industrial Economics (EARIE) The European Association Environmental Resource Economists (EAERE) and the Association of Southern European Economic Theorists (ASSET).
