Profile
Ansgar Wohlschlegel
Ansgar has taught in the areas of Managerial Economics, Industrial Organization, Institutional Economics and Economic Theory. His main educational objectives are that students get an intuitive understanding of the theoretical foundations of subject matters, and that they learn how to apply them to real-world cases.
Ansgar’s main field of research is Law & Economics, but he also works occasionally on topics in Industrial Organization or Public Economics. His work includes research questions such as:
- How do car drivers react to nonlinear speeding sanctions?
- Can we prevent the next financial crises by regulating bankers’ compensation?
- When selling something on ebay, should I choose an auction or sell it at a fixed price?
- What are the consequences of corruption for an economy?
Ansgar’s current working papers and complete publications can be accessed through his google scholar profile.
