Mr. Ioannis Chatziantoniou, MSc. Financial Analysis (University of Piraeus), MBA (University of Piraeus), BSc. Economics & Regional Development (Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences)
Ioannis Chatziantoniou is a lecturer at the subject group of Economics and Finance. He is also working towards his PhD degree at Portsmouth Business School. He holds an MSc. in Financial Analysis (University of Piraeus, Greece, Department of Banking and Financial Management), an MBA (University of Piraeus, Greece, Department of Business Administration), as well as, a BSc. in Economics and Regional Development (Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, Athens, Greece).
His research interests span from monetary economics and macro-financial econometrics to economic development and applied environmental economics. His main teaching areas include: ‘Corporate Financial Management’, ‘Quantitative Economics’, ‘Statistics and Mathematics for Economics’, as well as, ‘Economics of Development and Environmental Economics’.
Part of his work has been presented at various international conferences. He had previously worked as a business consultant for Citibank plc. in Greece.
