Dr David Williams – BA, MBA, FAETC, EdD, MCMI
David joined Portsmouth Business School in September 2003 after spending nine years at Southampton Business School where he was responsible for the BA(Hons)International Business degree, and developing the international activities of the School.
At Portsmouth David is the Course Leader for the BA(Hons) Business Studies and BA(Hons) Business Administration degrees.
Prior to moving into the education sector David worked in a number of European companies in a variety of sales and marketing roles where he gained substantial experience of international marketing. He uses this experience and expertise in his teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
David was awarded his Doctorate of Education from the University of Southampton in 2001 on completion of his thesis examining the effects of corporate acquisition on the culture of independent preparatory schools. His main research interest is in the field of the marketisation of education.
