Kevin O'Brien BA (Hons) Coventry
Kevin O'Brien is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Human Resource and Marketing Management, as well as being Assistant Course Leader for Marketing.
Kevin's lecturing specialism focuses on Strategic Marketing Management, Sales and Key Account Management for the MBA, MA Marketing, BA Business Studies and Marketing courses.
Research interests focus on the transfer of knowledge to industry to improve performance in the increasingly competitive global market. Kevin has provided support to leading global companies through the Knowledge Transfer Programme in the development of marketing and key account strategy including executive development and coaching.
Before joining the Portsmouth Business School, Kevin held Sales, Marketing and Global Business Development Directorships. During his career Kevin worked in the UK, Continental Europe and the USA and latterly developed and led global teams in the development of strategy. In addition, Kevin managed relationships with leading brands at a global level.
