Portsmouth Business School has been recognised by one of the world’s leading accreditation bodies for the high quality of its business studies courses.
Dean of the School, Professor Gioia Pescetto received the certificate of accreditation from the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) at their most recent conference.
Portsmouth Business School now joins a select group of business faculties and schools worldwide as a known provider of international excellence in its business programmes.
The courses accredited by the EFMD Programme Accreditation System (EPAS) include the BA (Hons) Business and Management and BA (Hons) International Business.
Professor Pescetto said: “Gaining accreditation from EPAS is notoriously rigorous so I am delighted we have been successful.
“Accreditation from global bodies is important for us and our students as it proves we are delivering world-class education in which the course content, the quality of teaching and learning, the development of students and the careers they pursue after graduating have all been examined and found to be excellent.
“The EFMD is one of the leading global accreditation bodies in the field of business and management and the EPAS accreditation is an endorsement of what we do, confirming our place as a significant provider of business education.”
