Strategy and business direction in the context of the on going changes to the legal services market
Our breakfast meetings will provide a much-needed forum for local practitioners to discuss areas of concern and best practice around law firm management and compliance. Each meeting will involve a short presentation by an external expert, followed by a group discussion in which practitioners can exchange ideas and discuss best practice.
As Head of the School of Law, Caroline Strevens is interested in the development of the legal services market to ensure that the curriculum remains current and in order to ensure continuing and excellent careers advice for students.
Omar Saleh BSc(HONS) Eng, C Eng, MIMechE, FCIM, FRSA Senior Lecturer in strategic management University of Portsmouth, Global Director Ernst and Young, and business consultant with over 30 years experience working with multi national companies will introduce the topic of strategic planning.
In this session we will explain strategic planning through scenario planning. This will include :

- Relevance to business
- Why it is important
