The UK has now entered the latter half of the Conservative – Liberal Democrat Coalition’s governing term. Despite its lack of explicit electoral mandate and the atypicality of Westminster coalition administrations, the Coalition presented a self-avowedly radical five-year Programme for Government. This was predicated upon the need to restructure the UK economy and to enforce rectitude in response to what was portrayed as a crisis of government finances and, more broadly, of the state’s excessive role in the economy and society. All this has had major implications for work and employment relations.

We invite proposals for academic papers that will address relevant aspects of work and employment relations under the Con – Lib Dem Coalition Government.
