1 Year Work Placements for Portsmouth Business School Student
Business education at Portsmouth began more than a hundred years ago and the School has a long and successful track record in the design of courses resulting in well qualified and employable graduates.
The Portsmouth Business School Placements Office helps to continue this proud tradition by encouraging students on an ever widening variety of courses to take advantage of the opportunity to undertake a 12 month work placement during their third year of study.
With employers now requiring graduates to have the key business competencies and experience alongside a good degree, work experience is more vital than ever. Due to its very nature a placement year is the best type of work experience you can do during your time at university and will help to ensure you are as employable as possible upon graduation.
A placement has also proven to have a substantial effect on student’s final degree classification, with those undertaking a placement averagely achieving a 2:1 classification and many being awarded first class honors.
Placements are available within the majority of Portsmouth Business School undergraduate degree courses, click here for full list.
