Portsmouth Business School
Open Evening - Tuesday 7 September 2010
The Portsmouth Business School offers a wide range of full-time and part-time courses for students and professionals wanting to enhance their professional development at any stage of their career. The courses range from part-time, work-based Foundation degrees to postgraduate programmes including the AMBA accredited Master of Business Administration (MBA) for executive managers wishing to broaden their knowledge.
On Tuesday 7 September 2010 (5.00-7.30pm) we will be holding an Open Evening with an introduction by the Dean of the Business School and a presentation by Professor Charlotte Rayner on 'Finding Meaning at Work' during which she will discuss the skills required by managers in order for them to understand what motivates individuals at every level within an organisation. Charlotte has been involved in academic research since the mid 1990's when she completed the first major UK survey on workplace bullying for the BBC.
Over drinks and canapés, there will be an opportunity for you to meet lecturers, current and past students and people such as yourself, who are considering the benefits of studying at one of the South's best business schools.
