The HR Bulletin - The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and the University of Portsmouth
Stephen Pilbeam, Principal Lecturer in HRM, is the Editor of the CIPD sponsored HR Bulletin. The HR Bulletin is published three times a year and contains 5 articles in each edition. The HR bulletin aims to provide an additional opportunity for the CIPD Portsmouth Group to communicate with its members on contemporary HR issues and to enable the dissemination of contemporary HR research and practice in a digestible. This also enables the university to enhance its CIPD Centre of Research Excellence role as a proactive disseminator of HR information direct to the HR profession. The benefits include the provision of cutting edge HR information direct to CIPD members, enhancing the CIPD and University profiles at a regional level and facilitating the fusion of HR theory and practice in order to improve HR professional activity. In addition, the HR Bulletin provides opportunities to develop professional networking and seminars on the basis of the published articles.
