Professor Ashraf Labib received the 2008 Highly Commended Award from the Emerald Literati Network. This was for a paper (Labib etal, 2007) entitled "Preventive maintenance scheduling for multi-cogeneration plants with production constraints", published in the Journal of Quality in Maintenance Engineering.
