Portsmouth Business School
Welcome to the University of Portsmouth
International and EU students have an Induction/Orientation programme which is arranged by the International Office which involves various activities and social events. The full details of the programme will be communicated closer to arrival along with other important information on services and assistance provided to ensure your safe arrival to Portsmouth. In addition to the International and EU Orientation you will attend an academic induction programme with our Exchange Co-ordinator. Part of the induction programme will include an introduction to the Portsmouth Business School. Here you will be given an induction to the faculty. The induction will also allow you time to meet other exchange students and some of the staff who will support you whilst on your semester abroad.
Accessing your study timetable
You will be sent details on how to register prior to your arrival. It is imperative that you get registered as soon as possible as you will not be able to access your timetable until you have completed this. Once you are registered you will be issued your login details to access the university network. Once you have registered it normally takes 24 hours to produce your time table. Time tables can be accessed via the Student Portal. For new users please click on the new user link before logging on. Your time table is located under ‘my timetable’ and you will receive your University campus card once you arrive.
Please be aware that time table clashes may occur as exchange students are allowed to take courses from all five departments across the Portsmouth Business School. If there are any clashes e.g. if seminars or lectures are at the same time please contact us at the Undergraduate Centre, located in Richmond Building to rearrange your time table.
