Once you have applied to Portsmouth Business School and been made an offer of a place, we will invite you to one of our Department Open Days which are held on Wednesdays and Saturdays in early 2012 (dates are listed on the Registration Form). You will have the opportunity to find out more about your chosen course, meet the academic staff and to chat with current students and other applicants who are interested in studying at Portsmouth Business School. If you’ve been offered a place on more than one course, it might suit you better to attend on a Saturday when all our departments will be present rather than Wednesdays which are departmental specific.

Please note that the timings for Wednesday and Saturday Open Days are different so check the information below carefully. Once you have read the instructions below please Register for a Department Open Day.

Should you wish to come and have a look around the university campus at another time, you can download our 'self-guided walking tour' which will help familiarise you with the City and the Campus.

 

What will happen on the day?

Wednesday Open Days

The optional morning session (09.00am to 12.30pm) gives you the chance to see more of the campus and obtain a general overview of the University of Portsmouth.  The morning session is held in our Student Centre located a short walk from Portsmouth Business School (see map for details).

We recommend that you attend the afternoon session (12.30pm to 4.00pm) at which you can meet members of the course team and our current students.

From 12pm             Register at the Portsmouth Business School, Richmond Building

From 12pm             Lunch in the Richmond Building ground floor atrium

12pm – 4pm           Information Stands attended by teaching staff and students 

1.30pm - 4.00pm    Departmental presentations

 

Saturday Open Days

We recommend that you attend the morning session (09.30am-12.00 noon) at which you can meet members of the course team and our current students.         

9.30am                       Register at the Portsmouth Business School, Richmond Building (see map for details)

9.30am - 1.30pm       Information Stands attended by teaching staff and students

10.00am – 12 noon   Departmental presentations

12 noon                      Lunch in the Portland Building (next to Richmond Building)
