Complaints
The Information Disclosure and Complaints Manager is responsible for:
- operating the University's complaints procedures, involving complaints from both students and members of the public
- offering advice to students and staff on the operation of the University's complaints procedures
- monitoring, reviewing and, where necessary, revising the student complaints procedures
- working with the Collaborative Programmes Office to ensure each partner institution has equivalent procedures for dealing with complaints
Information disclosure
The Information Disclosure and Complaints Manager is also responsible for:
- supplying advice on the Data Protection Act and the Freedom of Information Act
- maintaining the University's publication scheme under the Freedom of Information Act
- responding to requests for information under either the Data Protection Act, Freedom of Information Act or Environmental Information Regulations
