Collaborative Induction Event
The Annual Collaborative Induction Event is designed to inform new and update existing partner and University Academic and Administrative Contacts and Partner Associate Lecturers (PALs) on the support and management arrangements for collaborative partnerships.
It introduces collaborative provision, provides information about our quality assurance arrangements, assessment regulations, as well as providing information on our wide range of support and resource services available for both staff and students at our collaborative partners.
The last Induction Event was well attended by numerous staff from partners, joined by academic and administrative staff from across the University. The highlight of the event is always the interactive sessions offered by our Academic Development colleagues introducing the online learning and teaching facilities available to our Partner Associate Lecturers (PAL), and the tour of our Library and the services it offers to students and partners.
The next event is schedule for Spring 2013 however, for contacts appointed part-way through the academic year, individual inductions can be arranged by emailing your request to cpo@port.ac.uk.
