Careers and networking

The Careers and Networking section of the website is here to help you use the alumni association to benefit your career. Use it to find out about our twice-yearly networking events being held in different locations around the country, or to read about some of the success stories of our former students. We'll be adding to this as we learn more about what you want from us – we'll include stories about how you've worked with the University and add more information about services, courses and benefits we can offer you.

One of the major benefits to our former students is use of our Purple Door Careers and Recruitment service. If you've graduated within the last five years, we can offer you dedicated individual advice and guidance and full use of the services we offer. This includes a careers events programme, one to one advice and guidance and access to our recruitment staff.

Don't worry though - if you graduated over five years ago, you can still make use of many of the resources in the Careers Centre, including journals, directories and advertised job vacancies.

Here's a variety of profiles from our former students, who were keen to tell us what they've been doing since leaving the University of Portsmouth. We're always happy to feature stories about the successful careers of our former students, so why not tell us what you've been up to since graduation?
