House of Lords Alumni Reception

Please join us for our second exclusive Alumni Reception at the House of Lords, hosted once again by Baroness Gibson of Market Rasen OBE.

The evening will be a lovely opportunity to catch up with old friends, network with new alumni and enjoy drinks and canapés in the Peers’ Dining Room. Prior to the reception, guests may also enjoy a private guided tour of the Houses of Parliament.

Tickets are priced at £45 per person and include the guided tour, drinks and canapés. You may purchase a ticket for yourself and one guest.

Early booking is recommended as this event sold out within hours last time.

  • Booking Details

    Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. You may purchase a ticket for yourself and one guest. The closing date for bookings is Friday 12th April.

    You will be taken to the University’s online store to make your booking. If this is the first time you have used the online store you will be asked to create an account which you can use again for future events.

    Once you have booked your place, you will be sent a formal invitation in the post at the start of May. It will include all the information you need to know about security and which entrance to use. You MUST bring your invitation with you to the event to allow access into the House of Lords. If you haven’t received this invitation by Friday 10th May please let us know.

    You must be a member of the Alumni Association to book onto this event. If you graduated in or after 2010 you will have been registered automatically. If you graduated before 2010 and you’re not already a member, you can join by completing the online registration form. 

    The Alumni Association reserves the right to cancel your booking if you are not an alumnus of the University, the Polytechnic or any preceding establishment.
