How you can help us
We realise that your time at University can help to change your life, and that many people feel that they would like to give something back to the institution they studied at. There are many different ways that you can help us here at the University of Portsmouth, and we’d be really interested in hearing from you if you’d like to stay involved with us.
Here are some of the different ways you can help:
Returning to the University to inspire our students:
- To give a talk about your career to our current students in their academic departments
- To help with skills sessions. These involve improving their CV, testing their interview skills and learning more about Assessment Centres

Employ our students and graduates:
- By offering them an industrial placement at your company
- Employing a graduate after they complete their course

These are used to give an insight into the career paths of our alumni to inform, inspire and motivate our current students and former graduates in their career choices.
