I worked as a development engineer for Lucas Diesel Systems.

How did you get into your current role?
Through personal contacts and climbing experience.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love having the opportunity to work on an amazing continent and being involved in research that leads to a greater understanding of the effects of climate change.

How did University help to get you where you are today?
I joined the University’s climbing club which gave me the mountaineering skills I needed for this job.

What are your best memories of University?
Trips with the climbing and mountain biking clubs.

What did you enjoy most about being in Portsmouth?
Meeting the great people who are still my friends today.
