Nanogong

What is Nanogong?
Nanogong can be used by both students and staff to record audio directly into most Moodle text fill boxes and can be used as audio assessment through the Nanogong activity.
Who is it for?
The Nanogong activity allows staff to create a task in which the student gives spoken feedback; the student can then listen to the responses of the academic. The voice recording tool is useful to all users of Moodle but the activity is perhaps especially useful in language assesments.
Why should I be using it?
Nanogong can be used by anyone wanting to provide a more personal feedback system or for assessing aural presentations. It is simple to use and works directly in the browser with no need for other audio software.
How do I use Nanogong?
From the text editor in Moodle, click on the speaker Icon. Then click the red button to record your audio (microphone required). For the activity, please see the training materials on the staff help guides.
How can I access Nanogong?
You can access the Nanogong activity tool through Moodle (moodle.port.ac.uk).
