    This provides information about everything from Annual Leave Entitlement, Bus Services, Car Parking and Family Friendly Policies to Salary Scales, Term and Semester Dates, and the University and College Union (UCU).

    Academic Development Events Calendar
    Details of a broad range of workshops and events on themes such as maximising student engagement, technology enhanced learning, staff and student voices, professional development and practice, course leadership, research supervision.

    University Staff Development Events
    This is a 'one stop shop' website for all University events. These are organised by category and by an A-Z list of events which includes, in a long list of workshops, 'Effective Time Management' and 'How the University Works'.

    Audio-Visual (AV) Introduction
    A brief introduction to the standard equipment to be found in a classroom including how to operate a dedicated PC and data projector, laptop and projector, and visualiser.

    University Induction
    University induction for all staff new to the University. Includes a welcome from the Vice Chancellor, an overview of the University structures and strategic priorities, and an Induction Fair with stalls from all major academic services.

    Information Services Induction
    An introduction to the University information technology set up and services, including Groupwise, Staff Essentials, Staff Directory, IS Security and Service Desk. Most useful in the first month of employment.
