Training sessions

The TEL team offer training sessions in the following software:

  • Moodle
  • Big Blue Button (BBB)
  • Turnitin

TEL will also soon be offering training sessions for many of the other new systems that the University has been implementing, for further information please contact thomas.langston@port.ac.uk

If you require support but can’t get to a session then log onto Moodle (moodle.port.ac.uk) and visit our ‘Help Sites’. There you will find a variety of resources and guidance to get you started in using Moodle and/or eportfolios.

Online self-study

The Epigeum online learning resources are aimed at staff who want to use learning technologies effectively. They are also useful for teams who are designing online programmes.

The seven Epigeum modules contain many interactive exercises and case studies from around the world, and are the equivalent of about 30 hours of workshops!
