The Graduate Employability Programme offers a wide range of opportunities to prepare students for graduate employment and ensure they have the necessary skills to be successful in a challenging economic climate.

The Careers and Recruitment Centre is based in Purple Door, Guildhall Walk. The Centre has open access 10am – 5pm, Monday to Friday, throughout the whole year. The Centre has an extensive range of information and resources relating to careers, employment, enterprise, volunteering, full time, part time and vacation jobs, with friendly staff to help students find what they are looking for. Careers Advisers, who are all linked to a Faculty, offer careers appointments, e guidance and presentations. There is a comprehensive Events Programme, which includes the annual Graduate Recruitment Fair in November, CV Wednesday and many employer led sessions. The Purple Door Recruitment Team provides a tailored service for students and graduates to gain employment, work experience or a volunteering opportunity. The Graduate Summer Programme runs from June to August and is specifically for unemployed graduates, who have graduated from the University in the past five years. Please encourage your tutees to visit us and if you would like to visit you will be very welcome.
