Education Liaison and Outreach

The Post-16 Education Liaison and Outreach Team works with schools and colleges to deliver a range of activities that aim to inform potential higher education (HE) applicants and support them through the application cycle. Members of the team organise visits and events at the University, including tailored programmes for individual schools and annual events such as the Hampshire and Isle of Wight HE Convention, the Information Day for Careers and HE Advisers and the Year 12 Conference Series. We also attend and deliver HE related sessions outside the University and coordinate visits by academics to schools or colleges.

UP for your Future

The UP for your Future scheme is for all students 'graduating' from the UP for It Club at the end of Year 11. We continue to offer these students information and advice about making choices for HE. This is done in a variety of ways including the provision of a booklet called 'Next UP'
