UP for It Juniors provides teachers with FREE resources for use in school. 

Some include free visits from academic departments, depending on availablility. If you are interested in a visit please do not hesitate to contact us.

Moving On pack (for member schools only)‌

12 fully planned lessons linked to the Citizenship Curriculum and University life to be delivered by the teachers in school, usually after SATs.
Provides learning objectives and links to the National Curriculum.‌

Newsletters (for member schools only)Education Liaison: UP for It Juniors newsletter

Three newsletters for Year 5 and Year 6 in the autumn, spring and summer terms
Interactive, with information on subjects, aspects of University life and higher education vocabulary 

Going UP (for member schools only)

Available for Year 5 after our visit. Going UP contains puzzles and information about university life.

  • A variety of science sessions delivered both at the University and in schools, depending upon availability.

UP for the Seaside

  • A variety of sports sessions and training, delivered in schools and at the University

  • Online lesson plans based on oral health, designed by our dental students
  • A visit from students in the Spring to explore oral hygiene and going to the dentist

UP for Jobs and Careers

  • UP for Jobs and Careers is a session of interactive activities aimed at Keystage 2, Year 5 and 6. They could also be adapted for Year 7. This would be suitable for PSHE lessons within school.
