For Year 9: An introduction to HE Day

This visit to the University includes a range of activities illustrating the benefits of Higher Education. These include an introduction both to the university and HE in general, a tour of our campus, a question and answer session with some of our current undergraduate students and an interactive workshop from our Student Finance team.

The visits take place once every term and last up to 4 hours.

For Year 10: Summer Schools

We will be running a three day residential summer school for local Year 10 pupils.

The dates for 2013 are Wednesday 26th June - Friday 28th June, however places will be given on an invitation basis.

Subject Workshops

The University of Portsmouth can offer workshops or mini-lectures in subject areas based around our degree programmes. These activities give pupils an opportunity to work in new and exciting environments and subjects.

If there are subjects or departments that you would like to visit then we will do or best to arrange this for you.

Information Day for Careers and HE Advisers

During May every year we host a one day event aimed at informing those advising potential university students. With the opportunity to visit facilities and individual departments, the aim of the day is to give an insight into what is on offer at the University of Portsmouth. Our 2013 event will be on Wednesday 8th May.
