Equality and Diversity
REF2014 Equality and Diversity Learning Package
A key element of the REF2014 is to ensure that the process is fair and inclusive to all researchers, and that personal circumstances that might have affected a researchers ability to produce output over the REF period have been taken into consideration.
To ensure staff are aware and understand their responsibilities around equality and diversity, all those involved in the REF decision making or selection process are required to complete the following two learning packages:
- eLearning Equality and Diversity Resource
All researchers who are submitting, or considering submitting, output to the REF process are also encouraged to complete these packages to help them better understand the equality and diversity decision making process.
