Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Staff Forum
The University of Portsmouth is one of only six universities to achieve full marks in Stonewall's 2012 Gay by Degree guide. It is also part of Stonewall's Diversity Champions Programme, which supports organisations in ensuring they provide an LGB inclusive working environment for staff. The University's LGBT Staff Forum played a role in the success and exists to offer the opportunity for all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender members of staff to:
- Build communication channels
- Network both socially and professionally
- Provide peer support; and
- Allow for information sharing a wide range of issues
