There are various types of parking spaces within the University:

All University parking spaces are colour coded or have A4 posts as follows:
- White - Standard
- Red - Disabled

- Yellow - Car-Share (currently not applicable)
- Orange - Maintenance
- A4 posts - visitors on University business (designated car parks only)
Please note: All permit holders are allowed to park in any standard bay within the University, regardless of what colour permit they hold.
Standard (white)
All authorised permit holders may use these spaces to park their vehicle whilst on University property.
Disabled Badge Holders (red)
Allocated spaces are for the sole use of Disabled Badge Holders. These permits are issued free of charge to authorised personnel only.
Faculty Bays (green)
Allocated spaces may only be used by Faculty Permit Holders. Authorisation for these permits are at the discretion of Faculty Heads and cannot be issued without their permission. These spaces are allocated for designated Faculties ONLY. No other Permit Holders can use these bays.
Car-Share Badge Holders
These permits are issued to Car-Share applicants. To find out more about our Car-Share Scheme please see our Mobility Bulletin. Please note: Standard permits must be returned when applying for car share.
Maintenance Bays (Orange)
Please be aware that Intersite bays have been replaced with Maintenance bays. These allocated spaces are for Orange Badge Holders, who are deemed to be essential users during working hours.
Reserved Bays (visitors on business only)
Update: From the 1 October 2012 we will be changing the way we manage visitors bays. We will be centralising into three main areas on campus. This is to improve the service and give more flexibility for permit holders. These bays will now be in the designated car parks below:
Anglesea ( rear)
Ravelin New
St Andrew's Court
A4 signage posts should clearly display the visitors name or company and we will now require vehicle registration. Please note: Staff/students or contractors are not permitted to use these bays unless the bays are not in use.
