Visitors

External visitors will need to display a parking scratch card in their vehicle and can park in either a visitors bay, or any standard car parking space available. They are not authorised to park in the special categories previously shown, unless authorised by the Mobility Section.

Students and contractors are not allowed to purchase scratch cards.

Scratch cards may be purchased from the Mobility Office, Guildhall Walk, or individually from University House Reception.  Departments or Faculties who require scratch cards, please contact the Mobility Co-ordinator for further information.

Each scratch card is valid only for the day of arrival and cost is £2.00

Please note: If you wish to reserve a space for a visitor, please email the address below with your request, specifying the date, time, location, the name of the visitor, and the registration number of their vehicle.

WE HAVE LIMITED THE NUMBER OF VISITOR SPACES AVAILABLE UNDER THIS PROCEDURE, THEREFORE DEPARTMENTS WHO REQUIRE RESERVATIONS PLEASE CONTACT:- parking.reservations@port.ac.uk

PLEASE ENSURE ALL VISITORS DISPLAY A VALID SCRATCH CARD.

Visitor Spaces

* Any permit holder may park in a coned off area as long as you remove your car 30 minutes prior to the arrival time indicated on the cone. Make sure you replace the cone as you leave.

* Cones will be removed by the Traffic Marshal if the space has not been used after 1 hour of the booked arrival time.
