Graduation 2013 Attendance
If you are trying to book to attend the Graduation ceremonies in July 2013, please note the online booking form closed on 8 May 2013. This date was the publicised deadline for students expecting to graduate to register to attend their ceremonies.
Many of the ceremonies are now fully booked and no further guaranteed bookings are possible on these days.
If you wish to check if you are still able to book and what you can do if your ceremony is fully booked you can contact us. Please read the information below first:

Please phone 023 9284 3434 and a member of the Graduation team will confirm if you are able to book now or if you will be able to join the Fully Booked Ceremony - Holding List.

Please be aware that if you join the Holding List you will be waiting for a space to become available when a student no longer wishes to, or cannot take up their booking. In these circumstances a member of the Graduation Team will contact you to let you know your booking has been confirmed.
Please also be aware that for late booking students:

Guest tickets may be limited –booked students may not be able to request the desired amount

In some ceremonies there may be no guest tickets available. In this case when guest tickets become available, we will notify late booked students of guest ticket availability

If guest tickets are available for a ceremony, students are required pay for any additional tickets at the time of ordering. You can pay for tickets via the Online Store – www.onlinestore.port.ac.uk
Please be aware we endeavour to accommodate all students who wish to attend their graduation ceremony. When a student has not registered to attend by the 8 May 2013 deadline, we sometimes have to delay confirming the booking for some weeks and on occasions until just before the ceremony itself. However in some cases we are not able to accommodate late booked students. Where this is the case we will notify you as soon as possible and provide a full refund for booked gowns (Wippell’s) , photography (Success) and guest seats.
For International Students
Please note: If a student has not registered to attend graduation, the Graduation Team will not be able to process requests for letters in support of visa application.
Students who have booked on or after the 19 April 2013 to attend the School of Social, Historical and Literary Studies graduation ceremony will be limited to the two free guest tickets, due to the response from students in this school. Any requests for additional tickets beyond the two free tickets will be considered, but are not guaranteed. We will issue refunds for those students who have paid for additional tickets, but have not been successful in obtaining them.
