The following pages provide management and health and safety information in relation to asbestos containing material in the University of Portsmouth.

Asbestos Management Team

The Asbestos Management Team is responsible for the management of asbestos containing material within the University.

The team consists of the following personnel:

  • Andrew Cardy: University of Portsmouth Asbestos Duty Holder
  • Bryan Lewington: University of Portsmouth Deputy Responsible Person
  • Mark White: University of Portsmouth Asbestos Responsible Person

Work may only be performed on any asbestos containing materials with the authorisation of the responsible person on deputy.
