Health and Safety Co-ordinators
It is the aim of the University to have a Health & Safety Co-ordinator in each building / department. As a vacancy arises, departments ask members of staff to express their interest in the role. A shortened application form is completed by the potential candidates and the department decides on the most appropriate candidate. Informal interviews can be held in conjunction with the Health & Safety Office if required. The department then advises the Health & Safety Office who send out a letter of appointment and liaise with HR Services, regarding the payment of a small annual allowance.
