2. Outline the legislation applicable to chemical spillages

3. Prepare a risk assessment

4. Clear up chemical spillages safely and in a competent manner

5. Outline precautions to prevent spillages

Learning outcomes

This course covers an overview of the relevant legislation (Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002, Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002, Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005).
