Introduction to Leader and Manager as Coach
The Leader and Manager as Coach programme provides leaders and managers with additional skills to conduct PDRs in an effective and engaging way, work towards a coaching style of management and be empowered to lead staff to achieve institutional goals and support staff in dealing with change.
The programme consists of three half-day workshops over a period of 3 months, including pre, post and interim exercises between sessions to embed the learning and provide an opportunity to use the tools learnt and put the skills into practice. A variety of further support and resources will be available including online resources and support from colleagues on the programme using an action learning style format.
Cohorts will be no more than 16 delegates per programme to encourage interaction, sharing and a valuable learning experience.
In order to be eligible for the Leader & Manager as Coach programme, you must currently lead and/or manage people, conduct PDRs and have the full support of your Line Manager.
