- Outline of current legislation-focus on Equality Act 2010
- Update of Equality and Diversity within UoP
- Application of legislation within UoP
- Managing and inclusive workplace
The aims of the workshop are:
- Update managers on current legislation
- Update managers on UoP policy and procedure around Equality and Diversity (E&D)
- Discuss approaches to achieving and inclusive workplace
Learning Outcomes:
- Increase knowledge of current Equality legislation
- Increase knowledge of current UoP Equality and Diversity policy and procedure
- Greater awareness of support available to staff and managers
- Greater awareness of E&D responsibilities as a manager
- Opportunity to discuss and share E&D concerns and look at practical solutions to ensuring and inclusive working environment.
