Target Audience
This session is ideally suited for anyone in a line management role who is responsible for the actions of others e.g. Team Leaders.
Outline
This session will look at what motivation is all about and how important it is to performance. It will explore what tools are available in working towards achieving a positive culture and enabling people to want to work well, including how to align people’s goals with those of the Organisation, how to avoid a ‘Them & Us’ culture and how to get the balance right between praise & criticism.
The aims of the workshop are to:
- review some tools/techniques that you can use, to get the very best out of people
- reflect on the symptoms and real costs of poor motivation
- equip delegates with at least 6 Key Tips to ‘reward’ your people - to help them feel valued!
- help delegates identify some action points, to take forward.
Learning Outcomes:
Having attended this session, delegates will appreciate the positive impact of achieving and maintaining a highly motivated team of people. Delegates will be equipped with the 9 key ‘drivers’ that motivate people and discover some specific actions to take, to achieve and maintain high motivation.
Delegates will also have discovered tips on how to ‘reward’ people, and will be able to apply SMART goals when aligning people’s goals to those of the Organisation.
