To provide background information on the student complaints procedure and the process of making a complaint.

The aims of the workshop are:

 

  • To clarify the purpose of training
  • To explain the background to the complaints procedure and any revisions
  • To show who can use the complaints procedure
  • To illustrate the 4 stages of the complaints procedure
  • To clarify what part all staff play in the procedure

 

 Learning Outcomes:

 

  • To be aware of how the student complaints procedure works
  • To understand the types of complaints received by the University
  • To know what part each member of staff can play in handling complaints
