The University asks line managers (or their nominated representatives) to complete Personal Induction Planning with all new members of staff. This aims to introduce staff, in a systematic but incremental way, to a wide range of information relevant to them/their roles as well as providing an opportunity to identify initial development needs. In addition, all new staff are also given an opportunity to attend an IT induction.
