Local Induction

The University asks line managers (or their nominated representatives) to complete Personal Induction Planning with all new members of staff.  This aims to introduce staff, in a systematic but incremental way, to a wide range of information relevant to them/their roles as well as providing an opportunity to identify initial development needs.

A Personal Induction Plan and Notes for Guidance is available to managers to ensure that new staff are properly integrated into their roles.

In addition, all new staff are also invited to attend an IT induction and details of this is sent to them directly, soon after beginning employment
