Carers Week 2012 - 18th to 24th June
Carers Week is the largest annual awareness campaign for carers in the UK.
The theme this year is 'In Sickness & in Health'.
Throughout Carers Week, over 1,200 local partners organise more than 5,000 events and activities throughout the UK to highlight the huge impact and contribution that carers make, to raise awareness about the need for access to better support and services, to identify 'hidden carers', and to encourage local organisations to work together to promote recognition, support and services for carers.
Carers Week is a partnership of 8 national charities:

- Age UK
- Carers Trust
- Independent Age
- Macmillan Cancer Support
- Marie Curie Cancer Care
- MS Society
