Profile

In this role I help the University’s Public Relations Officer (Events) with the planning and organisation of University events. These are many and varied, from public lectures and building openings to the University’s graduation dinner and our annual welcome event for the parents and partners of new students. I coordinate guest lists, invitation mailings and responses and help manage the event on the day. I am also involved with the preparation of the monthly press cuts and maintain an analysis of monthly media.

I joined the University’s Science Faculty Office in 1990 and subsequently worked for University of Portsmouth Enterprise Ltd (Science Division), Information Services and IT Training before joining the Marketing Department in 2003.
