Marketing and Communications


I am responsible for the research-led activities within the Marketing Department. The function of the Market Research team is to inform corporate strategy and provide guidance to faculty and departmental marketing activities. We research and analyse a range of market research information including recruitment patterns, demographics and education trends. The Market Research team also receives requests to explore areas such as course development, positioning and aspects of the student experience.  Alongside this we undertake, or commission, quantitative and qualitative research to help assess future needs and trends.

My previous roles within the University include Research Associate, Personal Tutor and Lecturer in the Sociology Department. I have also studied at the University as a research student – my doctoral thesis explored the contemporary student experience and the transformation of student life.
